Week 2 Predictions
Hoping to see a better week for the Big 12 in week 2. One interesting early conference game in Norman:
Southeastern Louisiana @ TCU
Oklahoma State @ UTSA
Buffalo @ Baylor
Louisiana-Lafayette @ Kansas State
West Virginia @ Oklahoma
Stephen F. Austin @ Texas Tech
Texas @ BYU
South Dakota @ Kansas

Normally, I would have picked West Virginia, but after that close win over dread William and Mary, well, my common sense said pick the sooners this time.

I don't think Holgorsen showed much in the first game. I also think the Mountaineers were looking ahead to this week's game when they stepped on the field to play W&M. WVU played much better in the 2nd half, after falling behind 17-7 in the 1st half on a couple of big plays by W&M WR Tre McBride, and a WVU turnover...
There was pretty good coverage on all 3 of McBride's catches. But he's an NFL calibur WR and made 3 great plays on those catches. McBride gained over half of W&M's yardage on just 3 plays - for 108 yards. W&M had 207 yards total. Other than that, the Mountaineers pretty much shut their offense down...
IMO Trickett is going to be the starting QB before the season is over, possibly before the Oklahoma game ends. He's got a cannon for an arm...
Getting WR Kevin White healthy enough to play would help a good bit too. He's a big target that can fly, and was the best blocking receiver in spring and fall camp. Hopefully he'll play this weekend. He's the best WR we've got on the roster...

RE: Week 2 Predictions
On the surface these would seem to be easy picks. Almost as easy as last week's were. Cough, cough!
TCU
OSU
Baylor
KSU
OU (probably a tight game)
TTU
Texas
Kansas
