RE: Champlin: UAB HC Garrick McGee sees growth in QBs, plans to play both @ LSU

I guess when the defense is on the field they are all benched. I also guess AB never put on a head set either. There is a reason I have to field complaints about two particular posters on this board and it is wearing thin.
Its not my fault people here can't take a joke

Two quarterbacks are fine if it is done right. I just don't think it was done right in the Troy game. I didn't like the timing.
Correct. McGee knew up front when he wanted to put JP in & stood with his decision.
At the time, AB was doing very well & I think taking him out disrupted things.
I was still cheering for JP to perform, but it did end up being very bad timing on the field from his predetermined plan.

And to anyone who thinks it wouldn't have made a difference, I'd point out was that all we'd have needed to win was one more field goal.

No idea what is happening. That time it posted 4 times. I have since removed the 3 duplicates.

Just so we are clear, the 2 qbs aren't "equal" as in talent or performance on the field.

And not all at once. There was a 30 minute gap between the 3rd and 4th time.

Now every one go complain to Attalla if you disagree with my post.
Sure, but given how close the game was, and how well Brown was playing when McGee made the switch, you know what that say about if it ain't broke...

Of course we are now closer to the next game than to the last. 'Bout time to recalibrate, recharge, and move on to LSU.

But how would he know that Perry wouldn't do even better without giving him a shot. You give both their shot and go with the hot hand.
Well hell, the Patriots might want to give Ryan Mallett a go this year. I know Tom Brady is good and all, but without a shot, how do we know which onehas. Same with Peyton Manning, Drew Brees, Aaron Rodgers, Cam Newton, etc. You never know, the backups could do better!

They had a hot hand in the game.

I have never heard the Patriots coach say those two QBs were equal. But then again I don't follow the NFL.

I have no idea.
What I do know is that Brown was lighting Troy up like a pinball machine when he came out.
If a two-guard has hit 7 of 10 shots, do you replace him because the other guy might hit 8?
