Perry didn't earn the spot in camp. If he did, he would have started. He didn't earn the spot in the last game. He isn't starting this game. No need to play him unless an injury occurs, scheming, we are up by a few tds or down by a few tds. Coach has had 2 years to figure out his starting qb. The majority of us want to win ball games and don't care to see games being sacrificed to have a qb experiment. Some of us got upset when Jackie was booted from the team. The majority of us moved on. Now its time for those who are still rooting for JP to get the nod to move on as well. Pull the rabbit out of the hat against LSU. Go all out for the Upset. Its a program and career changing type game. No more time for experiments. They've given us $1 million to play them. Lets take more.

Playing Perry will pay dividends down the road. There is never a good time to sub for a hot hand, but pre-game script didn't lose that ball game.

Playing 11 yards off their wideouts had a heavy hand in the loss. Are our safeties that bad that our Corners have to keep everything in front of them ?

Guess we will never know til coach puts them in the right positions. 03-banghead Robinson didn't have a good day because he was on fire. He had wide open receivers 5 yards from line of scrimmage. 5 yard catch, then tack on the yards the receivers has after the catch. Its impossible for the defender to make a play on the ball.

This year there have been many instances where coaches have decided to play multiple QBs and its not just rhetoric so the defense doesn't know. There must be something coaches see happening that the public does not. I suspect later in the season things may change but as of now it is almost a "trend".

Well, we lost to Troy in that game and they used 2 quarterbacks. Of course, their 2 QB's had vastly differing skill sets, whereas both of our guys are fairly similar with the exception that Perry has the ability and size to tuck the ball and possibly be effective with some designed running plays. One really oddball call that I recall , which led to a failed drive with Brown, was the option play he ran to the short side of the field and tossed the ball to Reaves. That thing went nowhere and fooled nobody.

Good question for tonight. Why are we running the option with Brown. He looked like a fish out of water.

Same reason we're running a 3-4 on defense. What that reason is? IDK.
