Since a 4-5 start in his first season (2010), ND is 25-6.

That is not a "one season wonder", that is a trend, an upward one.

That is not a small sample size, that is over 31 games.

That is all I am saying. I think it is pretty "legit".

I'm really trying not to argue, but to show you why I say that, lets look at the games they won.

2010, 8 games. 2 ranked teams. Beat #23, lost to #4. Opponents W/L on teams they beat, 57-45.

2011, 8 games. 3 ranked teams. Beat #11, lost to #7 and #23. Opponents W/L on teams they beat, 49-53.

2012, 12 games. 4 ranked teams. Beat #7, #15, and #24, lost to #1. Opponents W/L on teams they beat, 86-68.

Do you think they have what it takes to go all the way this year and take down the BCSCG contender?

Is that your definition of "legit"?

If so, how many teams are legit? One ? None?

If Golson were under center, I would lean towards yes. I think that thy could have repeated their record last year, possibly.

With Tommy Rees at QB, not very likely. ND will probably go 10-2 this year, in my opinion.

For the record, I don't think that LSU can beat Alabama either, but I think that they are "legit".

When ND went 15-21 the last three years under Charlie Weis, ND was not "legit".

However, when it wins 25 of the last 31 under Brian Kelly, it is "legit".

I am not trying to argue either. We may have a different definition of "legit", that is all.
