Every year when the lesser teams play the higher level teams many times they throw a
scare and give hope to their fans that the upset is happening. Last year for example we
played Michigan State so tough for three quarters I started getting my hopes up this may
be our day but almost always the better team gets it together and the cream rises to the top.
Just watch ESPN highlights and the same story repeats every opening weekend of the
season. This is what happened in the Howard game. I am sure there were Howard fans
in the third quarter living the dream but the superior team got it together and shut them down

It will be very interesting to see how Howard does in their next few games. They've got Old Dominion, one of the top FCS schools coming up in 2 weeks. I kinda think Howard is going to have another winning season.

Old Dominion is FBS this year as an Independent.
