The thing that crossed my mind when I saw it, was that it was a black A with a red star instead of a blue A with a red star. The same was on their uniforms. I really don't know if that's okay or not, but it seems Cincy had a blue A with a red star.

Why should anyone get complimented for having the conference logo on their field at this point???

Seriously. This is such a self-serving thread, like a kid looking for a lollipop at the bank.

To answer your question...I like the American logo on Cincinnati's field a little more than I liked the American logo on UL's field. They looked pretty much the same, but UC's artificial grass looked nicer to me.

Every school is allowed to do the American logo in their school colors if they want to do so. UCF uses a gold A with a black star.

A Memphis fan started a thread about Louisville adding the conference logo to their field a few weeks ago, and that thread seemed to be okay... but please note that no UofL fan was the first to bring up this topic.

I don't actually mind seeing everybody pile on Louisville on the AAC boards. But when Cincy fans attack Louisville fans on ACC boards for, well, posting there, then maybe it's time we put things in perspective.

I think, if after the first game, some Memphis fan (and they probably will), puts up a "How do you like the AAC logo on the Liberty Bowl" thread, I will tell them it's a stupid question...

THAT was all in the preseason.... The preseason is over and now we have better things to talk about than how the logo looks on fields.

Might not have been the worst thing in the world for that game in particular.

guilty as charged. There is on UofL poster there that is a moron and he sets me off every time. I should cut him some slack, he has to be about seven years old. I know it was the ACC board and I shouldn't have done it but I snapped. It just seems like no matter what the subject is, his answer is some rip on the AAC and Cincy.

Example:
Poster X: It's really hot out today, man the sun sure is scorching.
UofL Idiot in Question: Yeah...I bet those losers in the AAC are really pissed and especially the UC fans...the sun always shines hotter on those mid majors.

Exmaple 2:
Poster: I really think the ACC is going to be a good race this year between two or three teams.
UofL Idiot in Question: Yeah, it should be a good race, unlike the race in that lame mid major AAC. What a bunch of losers.

anyway...I won't do it again.
