I just looked at the NIU schedule. They still have Idaho, Eastern Illinois, and Purdue out of conference. Then all the way up to the Ball State game, they have the cupcakes of the MAC unless you don't count Kent State as a cupcake anymore.

Going into the Ball State game, NIU really could be 9-0 and ranked in the mid teens probably.
