It did not help future member Tulsa steam rolled by Bowling Green of MAC. Fair or Unfair, the AAC needed to come out swinging and not lose games like this. Congrats to UCF for showing what the AAC needs to be doing to against non P5 opponents. I know on any given night a time can win, but sadly the AAC doesn't have that luxary.
The UConn loss hurts mightily because they are arguably our flagship institution. It's a colossal embarrassment. Only good thing about it is that the AAC has fallen so far off the sports media radar that shows like SC aren't really even bothering to air the lowlights. Tulsa's loss doesn't hurt at all because Tulsa is not an AAC school.
As for UCF, if we are ever reduced to congratulating each other for beating the likes of Akron, well, we're not the "challenger" league that Aresco says we are.
So why are you still following your football team or the conference? USF is not going anywhere, so what is the point.

If you have to ask Quo that you don't really "get him" or his mission....

"get him" What does that really mean? I do agree he makes good points, but his negativity really gets tiresome.

At least the P5 confferences will think twice before thinking of poaching UCONN or USF. Cincy may need a partner from another G5 league (if things don't get better) before they would be poached.

Any school being looked at for a P5 conference is going to be looked at from many different angles...their performance or lack there of in the opener of 2013 isn't one of them however. Maryland blows...they are heading the B1G. RU didn't do squat...they are heading to the B1G.
Some of you people need to get a grip and might I suggest stepping away from the computer for a while.

True, but UCONN doesn't travel well to bowls and other then going to a BCS game in a weak year of the conference hasn't done squat. Look at their recruiting the last couple of years and the difficulty they have of keeping good coaches. It's a great basketball school and that's it.
