but GTS, isn't the SEC the strongest conference top to BOTTOM? I mean, losing to W Kentucy isn't something an SEC would do - much less 2 years in a row... 05-stirthepot

In football, Kentucky isn't exactly what you'd call a typical SEC team...

No, I believe the B12 is the one that lays claim to having the Power Bottom.

KSU and ISU have certainly earned their place in the college football hierarchy... 03-banghead

I think San Francisco is more of a baseball town, everyone is either a pitcher, a catcher or both.

New Mexico State 7

If Iowa State loses that one after Iowa lost to Northern Illinois 30-27....what an embarrassing day it will be for those two programs.

What's embarrassing about losing to a better team?

Never understood how the Iowa teams get embarrassed by the local directional schools so frequently

Maybe the "local directional" is just better...

You, like many others, are confused about the SEC. You have LSU, Alabama, Florida, and one (MAYBE TWO) other team(s) each year that round out as the SEC teams to beat. This is why Clemson and Louisville got props last year. And Clemson, not losing much talent, is right back in the swing of things, though neither LSU or Florida were really tough teams last year.. Alabama wasn't either, but ND really just sucked THAT bad.
