Chancey Luna's Adoptive Grandfather Speaks
The grandfather raised Luna for 13 years. He admitted his grandson has previously been in trouble with the law for getting in a fight with another teenager, but Bumpas does not think his grandson is capable of killing someone.

I'm sure he's innocent and it's all a big misunderstanding.

I kinda feel bad for him. You can tell the poor guy doesn't want to believe it.

The disconnect between the number of people that you know that you think are capable of murder (likely close to zero) and the number that actually are (100%) is pretty huge and that has to be a shock for almost any parent or relative.

I mean, what are these people thinking? That Lane shot himself in the back from about 15' with his go-go gadget arm and a pistol and was able to somehow make it look like those kid's fault?

Wake up and face reality, damn parents. Pay attention to your f*cking kids once in a while and you MIGHT just notice that something could be wrong or that they're making the wrong kind of friends.

There really isn't much information on his biological parents. This guy isn't his biological grandfather.

I know of people who were raised by good, caring parents that went bad....really bad. It wasn't the parents fault. They did all they could to raise the kid right but like most parents, had no idea what the kid was up to when not around them. So, it's no wonder that parents are often in denial. Cracking on a non-biological grandparent is not really fair.

Maybe I was out of hand and the grandpa doesn't know the social outcast look of today.
