Nice drive. Great throw and catch by Rees/Brown.

Temple has played pretty well. Looks like the Owls have a good QB and a good young head coach.

Temple's offense is rolling up a terrible yards/points ratio. Lots of yards, few points to show for them. That's how you end up trailing by 21 in the 3rd quarter.

Better than last year where we were terrible on both. We are very young, especially on D.

Our secondary is absurdly bad. For 2014 we have a 4* and a 3* CB committed, plus a trio of 3* safeties.

Temple looks pretty good to me. They were beaten on two big pass playe early (well-thrown balls while they were trying to play man coverage) and then took a while to settle down. Later, they dropped two very catchable balls that would have made a big difference. Also, ND had home-field advantage. I see the owls as a tough team to beat this year.

I was pretty impressed with Temple. Your QB looks real good. Team speed looked good. Defense was real solid after the 1st qtr. Temple could make a little noise this year.

BTW: Those were the best Temple Uni's ever. I love the helmet.

Overall I was pleased with what I saw Saturday. The secondary was a real question mark going into the season so I wasn’t surprised, they are young and inexperienced. The pass rush will be key to step up and take some pressure off the D-backs. Many more positives are outweighing the negatives, I still feel like Temple has a decent shot at 6-6 and a bowl game.

I heard a rumor that Temple has 4 additional helmets for this season besides the white. I saw an article recently that the new president at TU wants to start creating some marketing and merchandising opportunities so maybe this is a first step?

Speed is okay. The problem is the secondary is slooow and our receivers are small. D did a good job after getting torched in the first 5 minutes. We're a really young team right now and there will be growing pains, but there is a lot of potential with this team and the players not playing yet and the recruits we have committed.

You seemed very well coached. a poorly coached team would have given up after the awful 1st five minutes. Playing at Notre dame is not easy. Temple hung tough. Your QB has a lot of poise. TheQB who converted to WR was pretty tough as well. The tow issues I saw were the place kicker (not a good day for him) and the offense in the red zone. This final score should have been closer. 04-cheers

Coyer is considered an HBack. He plays FB, RB, WR, TE and wildcat QB. We didn't use him enough which was a big issue. 4 receptions and 1 carry isnt enough for your best athlete. The kicker will be fine. He's a freshman who played his first game on a national stage and had stage fright. RZ O should improve if we can open up the playbook more. I hate throws that go further than you need to score. Throwing a fade to the back of the endzone when you're at the 5 is just stupid to me.
