RE: Top 5 and Bottom 5 Owners
great thread.
I know for sure the bottom 5 should be a bottom 1(Loria) and 4 others. Loria makes Ford, Sterling, Bidwell, and Jordan look like exlempary owners.

Well to offer an opinion...
Sterling has run a "profitable" enterprise in the Clippers. But his tight grip on finances has crippled them for a long time in being better than they are.
The whole Bobcat thing to replace the Hornets in Charlotte was f*d up all the way around from the beginning. Token owners for a token team.
Personally I think the owners of the Hurricanes have been very frugal and have gotten a lot out of their spending. The Canes might need to make a splash to get back to the playoffs though granted I can understand them trying to be tight on the money in a small market NHL team in the south.
Never really had much beef with the Panther's owners.
I do think owner of the Redskins and the Cowboys meddle too much in their teams business and need to be hands off to get the teams back to their golden eras.
