Every little bit helps IMHO. You know, I'd be thrilled with some wind. Can you help out with that MD? If there is a nice breeze and the air is moving it helps a LOT.

Unfortunately no, winds are going to be pretty light, and humidity will be pretty high so not sure how much better that will feel, but like you say at these levels of heat and humidity every little bit does help!

Hey!!! If I didn't have such thick skin, I'd be pretty hurt by that comment. Now please excuse me. You made my stomach churn and I need to release some gas.

The forecasted high for Saturday is down to 90. Might even drop another couple degrees before gametime.

There have been lots of players cramping in these games tonight. Saturday should be more of the same.

Down to 89 degrees now for saturday forecast. Honestly, it will be hot but nothing that affects the game either way. What else do you expect, the first game of the year is always hot. If there was wind we would be complaining about that, since the are "supposedly" the best running team in the nation....

The only thing Iowa leads the nation in is overpaying for head coaches.

I am row 78, one row from the top. Will it be cooler there than lower seats since there will be more breeze, or warmer since I will be closer to the sun?

Randy, if you can protect yourself from the sun - straw type hat - or a t-shirt on your head or something...you might be better off than those of us stuck down close to the field. Even if it is in the upper 80's...the sun is going to be a killer.

RE: Iowa weather
Hey guys, hope to see many of you at the game.

I'll be driving along side most of you on 88 towards Iowa City tomorrow, so let's all drive safely and remember to only drive in the left lane if you're passing! 03-lmfao

Couple of suggestions for you: Use Bullfrog spf 50 and invest in a Enduracool or Frogtogg towel.

I'm sure most of you have seen the advisory from UI but here are a couple of important items to know in case you haven't seen the advisory:

EXTREMELY HOT TEMPERATURES PREDICTED
Game day temperatures are predicted to be in the mid-90 degrees. Fans are encouraged to drink plenty of water on Thursday and Friday. This will help you on Saturday.

BOTTLED WATER
For this week's game, there is no restriction on the number of unopened, clear plastic bottles of water that a patron can carry into Kinnick with them. We will also be selling bottled water at the concessions stands for $2 on Saturday. Also, fans can refill empty bottles and the water fountains in the stadium and, if they want to cool off, there will be cooling stations and shaded areas in the four corners of the facility.

Drive safe and see you guys at Kinnick.

Luckily forecasts have changed slightly since that initial release, not quite the extreme heat as initially feared.

Yes...

That's the correct answer. I will be HOT and humid.

I'm in the west stands on row 75, I hoping for some shade being thrown off from the press box.
