When memphis visits bartow, they come close to covering the arena in blue, lately. Same goes for UNC.

I'm thinking we won't travel *quite* as many people as they do.

That's because blue is their primary color and what they wear to all games. Same as green for us. They don't attempt white outs in someone else's place.

I'm pretty sure no one's expecting to white out the whole stadium. I'm not crazy about the idea, either, but the last time I was there for a football game, it looked to me that UAB folks filled up two whole sections. That would look pretty arresting all in white, against their red.

We were ordered by the BOT to wear white to go with their dark red.

This is the dumbest idea I've ever heard of. No one does a (color)-out as a visiting team. Just wear what you normally would. Half the people are going to wear green, half are going to wear white, and the visual effect of having a large contingent will be wiped out.

Sure. Do they have enough on short notice might be another question. Getting some game day shirts run up quick might make them some bucks though.

I know they've had some in the past. I've got a #3 and #10 white jersey from the Sam Hunt/Chris Williams days. I'm pretty sure I've seen regular white t-shirts there recently.

? White is the other official main school color. Forest green and white, gold accent.

Lets be good fans and just do it and stop complaining! Even if you think it is stupid it shows the team unity and support. They are excited about it and if they take the field and see even a smaller unified group it will build confidence. Ill be in my white, come on and join me!

A bunch of grumpy old dragons resisting change and something different. What will it really hurt to wear white to one game.
White IS one of our official colors and besides, everyone talks about...

"support the program. Wear your team colors. He's the coach not me. Troy men eat sheep in more ways then one."

Besides, can't be hard to wear even just a plain white t-shirt or polo. It's still white and still an official team color. Gold is just the accent color. Come on and "play your part." "Becuase when we win, Birmingham wins" blah blah blah

What I'm grumpy about is I listened to everyone before now saying, "wear green" and that's what my UAB wardrobe is: green.

White may be an "official color" but green is the dominant color.

Besides, shouldn't UAB put out some type of official communication.

Oh well. I think it is funny that so many are against the idea, yet are going to do it.

Sheep are white too.

Fact is, I'm not all that grumpy, and there's a side of me that thinks the idea's kinda neat.
