And to think I got in trouble with the fashion police, my sister-in-law, when I showed up to the game with normal white socks instead of no-shows. I had them pulled down to my ankles, but she was too embarrassed to stand close to me, said I looked like a tourist.

I was watching the Boise State game with a recently graduated three year starter for the dukes and out of nowhere he dropped a "Man their jerseys are tight, you don't have to do anything to make them look good." I got him to elaborate with this thread in mind and he mentioned how JMU players were constantly having to wear sleeves and arm bands to look good. On Saturday I was sitting with another recently graduated three year starter and he started talking about JMU jerseys. I was under the influence of yeast based beverages so don't remember examples details but I remember him hating the white on white jersey combo. Just two more examples of 24 year olds and successful JMU players talking about thee influence of jerseys. I'll bet its even more influential for an 18 year old coming out of high school.
