He is running 3rd string. He informed them and had no hard feelings. Nothing but plying time I see as motive---Anyone remember Peteys Pioneers of 1971 at Rice? He signed 8 QBS--most were gone by semester. Anyone remember tht Conover brought in HS ALL America from the Bronx of all places--guy could barely speak English and was terrible. It happens at this level.

Yeah, Manziel still has eligibility (for now) for 2 more years, although nobody thinks he'll use it, true freshman Kenny Hill beat Davis out for the number 2 job and they have 5 star Kyle Allen coming in next year, and are in the lead for more in 2015. Davis saw the writing on the wall--no playing time, ever, in CS.

But Al never developed Mike Kramer, Tommys older brother, who some said was better, but had some injuries, and never got back on track.

Bo Hagan deserves most of the blame for not developing Mike. I was actually somewhat surprised that Tommy came to Rice after the way Bo treated Mike. I would not say that Mike was better than Tommy, but he deserved better than he got from Bo.
Steve Goldman recruited a number of NYC area guys to Rice, under both Peterson and Conover IIRC. And yes I do remember the Colombian Rifle.

I have a FIRE BO HAGAN bumpersticker -- somewhere in a file folder in the basement.

Now that is odd. My post "I have a FIRE BO HAGAN bumpersticker -- somewhere in a file folder in the basement" appeared in the middle of the post I replied to. ????

Now that sticker ought to be worth some money.....................
I remember there was a biplane flying over HRS dragging a "Fire Bo Hagan" banner during one of our last games when I was a 5th yr senior. Everybody on the team got a chuckle out of that.

(Gnote: I typed this here to show you how it appears inside the quotes.)

If you type it between any of the (have to spell this out or it will make a web-mess) "open-bracket-slash-quote-close-bracket"s that are in the text entry box, it will appear in the quoted text. I've included my addition to yours, within the quoted text.
Getting the level of quotes right when replying reminds me a lot of coding in the good old days (certainly still applies here).

Or did it say "Bo Must Go"...............................can't remember.

Johnny Paycheck's parents have their home in Bryan up for sale. Gives credence that he will leave A&M at end of this season.
