They bring stellar hoops and the Liberty Bowl is already in the bowl portfolio of the B12. Budget wise they are as strong as Cincinnati and this is with a woeful football program.

Ok lets take the flip side of that....

First off no argument on the hoops, but the B12 already has the Liberty. How are their interests further benefited by bringing in Memphis in that regard?

All of the current AAC members. But most are trying to leave in actuality. That's what is so surprising. How could these schools make comments about how they like the AAC - but are in reality trying to leave the conference in secret. It's deceitful and simply not nice.

Isn't that what some other schools did (BC, Miami, Va Tech, Syracuse, Pitt)? They were all reassuring UConn that they were committed to the Big East, then UConn was left at the altar.

I agree, and it was the same with the C7 / Big East basketball schools, they were committed until they were gone.

Question: Which AAC schools are pledging their commitment while in the background trying to position themselves for inclusion in any P5 expansion or realignment?

Answer: All of them, it's too lucrative not to, and any university president / AD who isn't is doing a disservice to their institution.

Shocking i know, buy no news there.

No chance? Now that is funny!!!!

Some have a better chance than us and I will admit that.

But the fact you think that we have no chance just shows you have no clue!!!

I agree that we have a chance... I would say we have a good chance. SMU / UH are located in large metroplexes / rich and successful SWC history... SMU is an academic powerhouse, UH is on the rise academically. Both of which value and invest heavily in athletics.

There is a lot of potential for these schools.

I actually met Miko, and the conversation went like this.....

Miko: Well, have you been to, uh well, let me see... Santiago, Chile?

Me: Twice last year. Which building's yours?

Miko: Are you familiar with the soccer stadium?

Me: Did you build the Estadio Olimpico?

Miko: No, just down the street the Celinto Catayente Towers. It's quite a fine example, in fact. I recommend that next time you're up that way that you drop in and take a gander at it yourself.

I can confirm that 4 schools are looking to leave as of now. Their odds of leaving are tiny ATM, but they are trying as we speak. The clue to the four can be found on the door, when you walk thru the entry the room's occupied by gentry. When you sit down at the table, your fellow diners beg for things to be stable.

I said too much already.

Miko used to be "the Riddler" on the old Batman TV series. I can see him now, in his secret lair, tilted at an angle.

I get it that people think I am convoluted with my writing. People may read my posts and think that it's I'm smiting. But to be honest I have much to say, to protect my sources I must say it my way.
