He would just talk about the punter anyways. Also not a big fan that's he's not really going to all of the practice's. I miss John Sahly, I remember when he would do a little write up after every practice.

Yes...coverage has fallen off this year. What's up with the article on Boenzi? Not that it wasn't a decent read but how about articles on the current players?

And I love Lynch but he is interviewed 75% of the time on Huskiewire. Maybe this is Carey's grand plan to keep everyone in the dark.

I noticed the Rockford Register Star has really dropped off its coverage also.

Guys, let's chill. They try and minimize the pre-season pub, because it's tough to make a big story after practice every practice. The Huskies are progressing and they often have practice notes. As for the Rockford paper, once games start their coverage will pick up.

I was interested in reading about what happened to Tank. The season hasn't even started yet, nothing wrong with articles like that.

He basically discussed:

- the transition from Doeren to Carey, the benefits of staying in house with the move....

-Basic preview of the team, amount of guys coming back on both sides of the ball, stressing the defense's quality in numbers despite some silly performances last season (see army, 4Q MACC)

-Player to watch besides Lynch? He responded Jimmy Ward and his likely draft status next april.

- Expected wins for the season, strongly believing they should be 10-12 wins...

He was pretty good, needs work before he can get on a station like the score but overall insightful
