Sad to see both Brian Powell and Kevin Weaver go. They were both great assets to JMU.....I wish them well.

Most that know Brian know he was a pretty big JMU homer, so there's no question - to me anyway - that he would've stayed even in FCS if it weren't for his wife's situation. Nothing to be worried about.

Completely irrelevant in this discussion. Anyone involved with these professions know there is consistent, ongoing turnover. It has always been the case. Taylor got a huge promotion with the move to UTSA, and Brian is leaving because Katie (his wife) got an opportunity to coach lacrosse at Notre Dame.

Looking forward to having Dave back as well as meeting the new blood from Oakland!

I knew of Taylor's situation. No brainer move for him

I was concerned that guys like Kevin Weaver and Brian hit the road. I had no idea that their wives prompted the move. Understandable.
