I was wondering if LSU fans are as bad as they say. I had a school official tell me we can not take our band beacause they can not ensure their safety. That is horrible and if it is true I hope these cajuns get what they desire this year. It is a game what is the need to spit, cuss, throw drinks, or just mess with the other teams fans. I just wondered if there is truth to this.

Two of my co-workers went to Baton Rouge for the 2002 Bama/LSU game, and they said they had a pretty rough time of it. (And they aren't the kind to go start something). They said upon getting out of the car, several small plastic footballs were hurled at them, and taunting was fairly constant all the way to the stadium. Shutting them out 31-0 made the trip out a bit more bearable.

I've only encountered them at Bryant-Denny Legion Field and had no problems, just found them to be a noisy. voicetorous(sp?) bunch.

A few years ago, the auburn team bus was rocked by a mob of fans so nothing would surprise me.
