This is a major reason that ODU is continuing to move forward. I know this isn't athletics so some on here might have a problem with it getting its own thread. However the gift is so significant, I just feel like they deserve the recognition and a thanks from all of us that love this university. Others may talk about upgrading their university's profile, but we have folks that are speaking with their pockets and I cannot think of a more important to honor your university's work. It really isn't about the students you attract, it's about the products they become when they get that degree.

Just another data point to confirms that the ODU degree means a LOT more than some can possibly imagine.

So I am extending my thanks to the Strome family...

Amazing gift.

ODU has been extremely fortunate to have some very high rollers show interest in our university, without which, our extremely positive recent fortunes would be completely impossible.

Completely agreed. Stromes, Ballards, Ainsleys, etc. Big reason we're where we are today.
