Yeah...that was a very pleasent sight. I like snow a lot, especially if it give the huskies free W's (Hartford hit a 2 run single to tie the game at 4 in the 6th, but it wasn't counted due to the heavy snow.)

Why were runs not counted? I understand a game being called but how did you manage to take runs off the board?

when a game is called, you go back to the score of the last completed inning. Thus, the 6th inning in the above example did not count.

Well, UConn saved their offense and edged out Marist in a thrilling 19-6 battle.

The snow today was nuts, lasted for a couple hours here, then all melted by 2:00.
