I really really miss you. Words just cannot describe. You were the icing on my cake, the sauce on my spaghetti, the rum in my coke. Oh now look what you've done i'm hungry and thirsty. I miss you so much. Please come back! We can work this out I promise. 03-weeping

Sincerely,

DC/Nova boat cruise
I had a passionate 3 year love affair with the boat cruise. Each year, it got a little better. Now, all my Augusts are but wistful memories of a time gone by...

RE: DC/Nova boat cruise
haha - i did a thread search for boat cruise and this is what came up.

Anyway, I'm wondering if any board members went to the Metro Dukes Alumni Chapter boat cruise last night, and how the event went?

Richmond Crab fest today. That one is always a fun fundraiser; wish I could have gotten down there today.

Hot as hell, but good times as always @ the JMU/RVA crabfest. Great turnout, band, grub, beer, socializing, & the like. Nutzy & Duke Dog braved the elements too. Thanks to the Alumni Assn., all the Jone's, & Brandon. Enjoyed helping out & manning the hot dog grill, bb.

Hyper, sadly not as we knew "the JMU boat cruise". The metro dukes made it into a formal dress up affair, with full meal service, drinks, entertainment, a program/speakers, and hiked the price way up as a fundraiser. It's not a bad idea... but i long for the days of the old $30 Duke Club booze cruise.

That booze cruise was fun. That's cool that they have a nice cruise, but yeah, not the same...

Do they still do the NY one? That was a lot of fun too but the last one I went to wasn't very well attended.
