Closest he will ever get to a sideline interview. It is apparent the colts don't see Harnish as ever being a backup since they keep bringing in a new guy to backup Luck. Too bad he is buried there.

They brought in a veteran since they only had Luck and Harnish on the roster as far as QBs. Harnish played almost the entire first preseason game and was absolutely awful. They have given him plenty of opportunities to prove himself as a capable backup.

Dude.....really? Please get some help. CH is doing just fine for himself out college. Probably not going to be in the HOF in Canton. After the NFL gig is over he'll be a success with something else as he's a pretty sharp guy.

Chandler is making $500k a year to hang out with the NFL crowd. If he picks up somewhere after Indy, he will have made 2-3 million right out of college minimum. Pretty sweet gig, way to go Chandler! I do want to seem him play though, he deserves it.

Maybe he can be our golden-boy coach that P.J. never was.... 03-wink

He will make that much on the active roster this year! Since they moved him to PS last year he got PS money still around 100k. I think he will be on the roster so that another team will not want to sign him!

His payday is coming up.

Truth is though is that like someone above said, chandler is a really intellgent kid and will be successful with any career he pursues after the league

Dude---really--go to hel*--The way Harnish has looked so far he won't hook up with anybody. The gig will be over soon.

The articles i read said in the preseason game he was being chased down a lot so he didn't get to throw many pocket passes. Not sure how true it is since i don't follow preseason NFL football.

He is a class act. Even if he does not have NFL ability, teams will take notice of his character. When his NFL football career is over, he will be in high demand.

I think he'll end up back here as a coach when he's done playing. I know he already helps out as a part time coach at his old high school.

I don't get the feeling that he wants to coach football if his NFL career ends quickly. He got his masters and was always networking in the business field. I would actually be surprised to see him coach.

If he does coach, I'm not going to hold my breath on him being our "golden boy". Nothing against him, but plenty of Huskies have went on to coach and never came became our head coach.

I didn't see the first game but I watched last night. He didn't have a lot of chances to throw, and he was 2 for 5. Threw one pass to the flat that got knocked down, had to throw it over somebody and it wasn't high enough. Got chased out of the pocket but completed a pass barely towards the sideline for a first down. Pass was low but safe and not bad for being on the run. Overthrew a guy (barely) on a long pass, would have been difficult to complete. Threw a screen pass but RB was tackled quickly. One other short pass was knocked away by a DB or LB. He also got hit in the face in the pocket and then ran about 10 yards or so, with 15-yard penalty tacked on.

The Giants D was coming after him, he didn't have a lot of time.

Does he earn the $500K if he does not make the roster and is on the practice squad?

Yeah he was like 11 for 33 in the opener. Rough start.
