McCain works with Obama to try to end sequestration
Apparently the fact that the sky DIDN'T fall hasn't sunk in.

The only REAL cuts -- and paltry ones at that -- this millennium and already the big government goons on both sides are working to undo them.

McCain is getting senile starting to wonder if he has alzheimer's, he and Romney are poster boys for why the GOP has lost the last two POTUS elections although Bush was the real reason for the 2008 loss all three are in the same class of RINO.

Romney isn't that bad. McCain is pathetic. I work in the DoD and sequestration is nothing but a scare tactic. I have never seen as much end of year money being pissed away as this year. All the furloughs were nothing but a dog and pony show.

Sequestration was nothing more than a decrease in the rate of increase no pain there. I was brought in to a private company to help make real cuts so the company could become more competitive. We have cut expenses by 25%, it was painful but we are now at a point where we can move forward as a lean competitive company.

It's time for McCain to wrap it up and retire. Arizona is notorious for spawning fake Republicans. See Jeff Flake. Too many California refugees. Brewer is the only true conservative I have seen AZ elect in a long while.

The Liberal Plague is spreading in the US in AZ its liberals fleeing the sinking CA ship and their policies that destroyed that state in the southeast it's the Northeastern liberals from MA and NY.

RE: McCain works with Obama to try to end sequestration
I don't think that sequestration is something positive, in and of itself. But spending has got to be cut one war or the other, and Seq. is the only way it will happen as long as Democrats hold the Senate and the White House. The country would be better served by targeted spending cuts to specific programs and departments. The Democrats have never shown the slightest interest in that, going back 30+ years. So Seq. will probably be the only answer for now. If McCain can somehow persuade Obama to join in something better, more power to him. I wouldn't bet on it.

Why does Obama need help with a program that was his idea?

I've come to the conclusion that austerity was a political attempt to stop Obama from getting re elected. Since that didn't work, the GOP wants their pet projects back.

Neither party never had any intention of cutting spending.

So you see the GOP as being more upset about sequestration than the Democrats? Really?

Neither party is all of one piece. There are some GOP'ers who want to increase spending, but many who really do have an intention of cutting spending. No Democrats are in favor of that, that I've heard.

04-jawdrop01-wingedeagle This just goes to show how far right you are if you think Flake is a "fake Republican".
