I enjoy watching the rivalry between you guys. Do you play Troy again? What is the arrangement? Is it at Troy or Legion field? Do you guys expect to win?

We're at Troy this year. We're 5 point dogs, currently.

I don't know what the future holds. UAB likes playing them in football, but they tie it to basketball, which (bless Troy's heart) is a waste of UAB's time.

Last year was one of our worst seasons ever and we beat them by 20 in their gym.

One last game is scheduled in Birmingham next year.

Well I hate to see the rivalry end after next year but maybe some efforts will be done to continue it. Yeah I don't think the Sunbelt has had much success in basketball overall. That is something CUSA does have some consistency in in that we have decent competition in all sports but certainly we could do better.

As far as an in state rival I don't mind playing them on a regular basis but my pref of SB to play would be USA. More upside to them plus they've been fairly good in all sports except fb but I think that'll change in the coming yrs.
