The good thing about our wr's is that a lot of them will get to play even if they are backups. BW will be platooning them in and out like a hockey team.

I love all this "football lingo" we use now. Heck, the fans at VCU probably think a "two deep" is an activity requiring three men and some Yanni CDs.

that can't be good. wasn't he our best LB last season? on second thought, as bad as our def was last year maybe it is good!

Caleb Taylor was our best linebacker at the end of the season last year. I think its great that Staton is pushing for playing time, but I don't expect him to start against ECU. I think this move was done as a motivating piece for both Staton and Taylor.

This is a good development. It means we have depth at linebacker and better linebackers.

Hopefully the emergence of Melvin Vaughn will help to open up the Oscar Smith pipeline to ODU and not so much UVA and Tech

You guys notice how BW and monarch media really promote the freshmen that are playing well. Notice how Melvin Vaughn and Richie Station are staying in the papers and the video clips. It can not be a coincidence.

They seem to really want everybody to know that we are going to play our best. This attitudes really helps recruiting. BW is letting all of the 14 recruits know if you come here and can play you will play as a freshmen.

Yes, and at the same time it keeps the upper classmen humble and hungry.
