I think one thing Florida has to do in our game is not kick to Reedy.

And put someone on him the moment he gets off the bus. Nice player you got there.

That is all for now. 04-cheers

If Florida's emphasis is to stop Reedy, that is great for UT. We have a whole lot of playmekers, including some freshmen who will be playing their first game. Northern Illinois has found that the correct way to beat Toledo is simply to out score us. Stopping one or two guys does not do it.

Yes, I realize you have more than Reedy, but my emphasis for my OP was on him as a kick returner. Special teams can be a game changer, as you obviously know.

Your RB Fluellen is good not only as a runner, but can catch out of the backfield and Russel is a playmaker as well. You have a good QB, who can also run, but the returning experience of you OL makes it happen.

As I said in another thread, it will be an interesting game.

Not to give away our game plan but in the interest of fairness, to really limit the damage the Rockets can do in the game, tell your coaches to put Quinton Dunbar on Cheatham Norrils from the moment the Rockets gets off the bus. Dunbar should never let Norrils get more than a foot or two separation.

Yes, I love it. We can give away gameplans on a message board as if your coaches and UF coaches can't already figure it out. LOL.

With all due respect, it is Norrils that should be looking for Dunbar when he gets off the bus. Dunbar is our best WR, and Norrils is your best DB, right?

You want inside info....Our freshman are the best Wr's we got....honestly. So do not let your heart be troubled.

Well, other than Dunbar. Kind of sad in a way we had no talent there for so long, but Robinson and Fullwood...well the future is bright, but not sure how well they will do this season.

I am impressed you knew Dunbar's name, to be honest. Good scouting.

Isn't that the goal every game. Not being a complete smartass, but NIU made Owens beat them and he made too many mistakes in those games. I think the simply outscoring you guys is somewhat wrong. Last year's game wasn't a track meet totally, yes 2011 was, but in 2010 NIU was just better. But I think if you can shut down the running game, expose the passive defense, Owens has to beat someone. Is he going to be consistent enough to do that.

Sorry if i missed an inside Toledo thing. Having to watch multiple players on offense and defense is a complete mystery to the UF coaching staff. Really, we are not used to that.

Also, sorry to praise your good player. Now what exactly went over my head?

I imagine a program like Florida will kick right to him the first time--sort of a "OK, let's see what y'all got!" kind of thing. But, if Reedy manages to do some damage then, yeah, they will start trying a different corner. He's one of those players who can break one at any time. Fun to watch.

Erm, ok.

You have a good team, and this game is not going to be easy for Florida. Anytime you want to actually talk football is good with me.

RR - you seem like a classy guy. Thanks for your interest in our game with you guys. Too many AQ teams like the suckeyes count us as second class citizens. A few years ago - we got hosed at osu and i will never step into ohio stadium again - it was a blatant cheat job like i have never seen before, and we would have beat the suckeyes by 20 points had the officials had not been paid off. I hope it is a competitive game and I hope we can pull off a monumental win against a big time program like UF. I hope it is a fair officiated game. I believe if we can keep our coaching staff around for a while we could become a top tier program like Boise State. It will take continuity at the coaching level and being able to pull off the upset wins against the big boys.

I like your posts and hope it is a good game!

Best of luck to your Gators this year!

Go Rockets!!!

It depends on how our special teams are doing under a new coach, which is the case with UF. It depends on how the game unfolds, but winning is most important.

If it is close in the 4th, and UF is punting, for god's sake, kick it out of bounds.

Thanks for that. I have seen two threads at a very large Gator board ab out this game, and you will find the entire spectrum of thought from Gator fans. Of course, it is the free board, and I usually do not waste time with it, and whenever I go there, it reminds me why I don't go there.

Any Gator fan that thinks this game is a lay up has not been paying attention lately. A cursory glance at your offense shows it plays into our weaknesses this year, at least early. Anyway, I am not one to look down any opponent, and neither is Muschamp. If you beat us, you will be like Louisville. You were just better that day.

an Ohio State...the worst fan base ever...and I have my reasons for saying so.....God awful arrogant...worse than Gator fans. :)

Rock on, and we will talk seriously later I am sure.

This made me wonder...does anyone have an idea of who goes back with Reedy on KOs this year? I'm assuming it will either be Wilcher or Corey Jones?
