We always do well in our "Jack". They call theirs the Jack, too.

I spent some time in Calgary in the last year and have worked alongside some UC graduates. Calgary is a really big city and an oil capital of the world. Much like Houston except much colder and drier and it does not get dark until well after 10pm in the summer.

This is one trip I'd make this time of year if I could afford it. It is damn expensive to fly up there, but if you can, it is worth the trip. Alberta also has the Canadian Rockies and Banff Nat'l park.
