Dude say the Big 12 will be adding BYU and Cincinnati soon. And they may stop at 12. So what is the real news B12 fans?

The main thing is that we, as a forum, had nobody posting much in here since this board was created. The pinned thread in question is over a year old, and only half of the B12 has made it to Mo-town as of yet. Since that was pinned, there have been damn few suggestions for anything else of note within the conference...

If you have any complaints about the content on this board, I suggest you post here more to improve that, instead of complaining...

Who's complaining? According to you the board is inactive anyway. Maybe it might be a little more active if everything wasn't so WVU centric? Maybe if all the members of the B12 were shown a welcome it might help. These are just suggestions that seem logical to me.

Actually, when basketball season starts it is pretty much all about KU.

It's all about everyone in the B12. But I only know the WVU side well. The rest of the B12 not so much yet...

If anyone has any ideas of anything worth posting and pinning at the top, feel free to post it, and send me a PM if it's worthy of pinning at the top to expedite the process. Although until I get back from my family reunion this weekend, I'm going to be kind of incommunicado...

Not even in-state is it all about KU. KSU had been down in hoops for a while, but when Huggy came for a year that re-energized their fanbase. Of course WVU has a passion for hoops as well, and certainly Oklahoma State and Iowa State are pretty engaged as well. Some of the other schools have more of a football focus, but overall the league is certainly underappreciated when it comes to hoops.

The State of Kansas will have nothing to talk about in football, if K State has a bad year.

I think BIG 12 should add MEMPHIS and Cincinnati.

I am starting to believe the company line that the B12 is happy with the 10 team model. In many ways it is a better model for scheduling than a 12 or more team model is. The money, at least for the B12, is also very good. I could see the conference maybe expanding later if there was a need for it. I mean, like if the playoffs expand to 8 or 16 and the B12 starts getting fewer teams in the playoffs than other conferences then maybe things will change. I firmly believe that as long as Texas and OU are happy then the rest of us will likely be happy also. I think the leaders of the B12 are "old school" thinkers who don't care what the rest of college football is doing. I am still a little shocked at the addition of WVU over UL though.
