I'm afraid the older generations aren't ever going to get it.

If we want to lick this thing, we need to hold our generation accountable for stuff like that.

The older generation is lost and will soon wither away.

So racism dies with old people?

Only if we hold future generations accountable for their racist remarks and discrimination.

But to expect minorities to just get over it after a few generations is silly.

Makes you wonder how old Jerry Falwell is. Sadly, I think he is fairly young so some areas of the country will take longer to cleanse than others.

There will always be racism...just like there will always be poor people. Striving to eliminate both is the goal of us optimists.

Why wouldn't you want to go through life being an optimist?

The NFL amazes me. I'm not condoning what he said but the possibility that he is cut for this is ridiculous to me. He would have been better off to be driving highly intoxicated and have a accident while drunk....that is where this doesn't make sense. PR and PC is amazing in our country.

That is the goal of the progressive. They cannot destroy what they hate without creating massive division.

BS. Complete BS. The N word is only offensive because some people have been taught that it is and others use it as an opportunity to push an agenda or what ever. It's just a word, PERIOD.

No. It's offensive. If you can't understand that, then you are part of the problem.

It's just a word?

If you believe that then simply go down a predominately black neighborhood and yell it at the top of your lungs.

It shouldn't be a problem............It's just a word.

If you're implying that I, as a white dude, would have problems using a word around blacks that they use in the course of normal speech then you're the one calling blacks racists.

Why can't liberals see their own racism?
