Fuel limitations regulations creating jobs.
Interesting article. Hope fuel consumption can be reduced in all areas...not just with cars.

That article is ridiculous. More regulations does not equal more jobs. Any jobs "gained" by this factory will be lost in factories making 5-6 speed transmissions. Textbook case of the broken window analogy

^And gas taxes will sky rocket. We will drive more fuel efficient cars but spend just as much on gas due to higher tax.

Michigan is already trying to raise the gas tax in 2013.

Pretty soon they'll mandate some sort of gps tracking in every car and we'll get billed on our mileage.

They have already mandated black boxes in every new car in 2014 so it wouldn't come as a surprise if these can grab/calculate mileage.

Hey DB, could be a lot worse. In Singapore you have to buy a permit just to buy a car. Depending on the size engine, you pay anywhere from $40,000 to $75,000 for the permit. The permit allows you 10 years use of the car you buy.
