The Owls are off to a slow start (1-5).

CS-Northridge - L
Santa Clara - L

LSU - L

I don't know if that's expected or not, since I don't have any idea how good those teams are supposed to be.

This week they play @ Lamar, then host a weekend tournament with HBU, Missouri, and NC St.

Matches have been super close. All the losses have been 5 setters (or in LSU's case, 4 very close sets). I'm not sure we were deserving of a preseason favorites role because we lost quite a few good players from last year, but we definitely have another solid team and this program continues to be in fine shape under Ginny Volpe's direction.
