Game 1, perhaps JK gives us a better chance to win (who knows? it's debatable). But I think in terms of putting together the maximum number of wins in the season, Fuente's decision and reasoning is sound.
I don't care who was at qb yesterday. Our secondary was not going to prevent them from scoring those 4 touchdowns. And it had nothing to do with fatigue. It had to do with speed and intelligent reaction time. Some of our secondary gets it. Some do not.
This was not my view, however, all I had was a crappy ESPN3 feed, so I defer to someone who's opinion I respect who was actually there.

I appreciate that, Bill. Additionally, I would add that our D Line shut their running game down for the most part. They just could not get consistent pressure on their QB. That made the secondary's job that much harder. But they still were too slow to react to passes. I'm speaking in general terms. Granted, one of them got picked off and run back for a TD.

If we possess the ball more instead of mostly 3 and outs then Duke doesn't run nearly as many plays and probably does not score the 28 points. We probably score more than 14 points as well.
