This right here is what makes me optimistic about the defense. These guys can flat run, and there's a bunch of them.

I remember what a wrecking ball Daniel White was, and can't wait to see him back out there raising hell.

I think so. He was listed on the Spring Roster. Not sure if he played in the spring game though.

I was also impressed with his play from last year.

He had to sit out the spring, and he is still rehabbing. But he should be good to go by the start of the season. I'm hoping he can stay health all season and enjoy his last year.

Still can't see how Bastien and White aren't both starters. White is the best LB I've seen around here since Joe.

Probably due to the fact that White hasn't played in a while.

I have no doubt though that he will see a lot of playing time & you may have various starters for a few games.

I thought Jake Ganus did a great job as a tackler last year. I hope he is big enough to play LB.

They said Ganus actually played at 185 lbs. last year........he was easily over 200 in the spring. They are trying to get some FAST lb'ers on the field to defend against the CUSA spread teams.

It sounds like the nutrition program and the weight room are working. Bigger, faster, stronger.
