American Media Days
Wow! Just wow!
Coach Fuente was impressive. It was a great interview. It is really worth watching if it is archived.
While the setting for the interview was not as good as CUSA (some background noise), the interviewers had much, much better questions and observations. I liked the American media day interview much better than prior years CUSA just because the content was a whole lot better.
Coach Fuente again gave a very good interview.
The team was learning to win. They had a taste and were excited, but the coaching staff had to remind them how far they wanted to go.
The defense has older players, while the offense would play 5-7 freshmen or redshirt freshman.
Working at building team core values, while at TCU for example, those were already established.
No predictions for won and loss, the staff were focused on how they played: hard, tough, smart football. Play according to the "Tiger code" and let the chips fall where they may.

Fuente on being picked last in the AAC: "It's not discouraging. We understand where we are at, and where we are going to go."
