I saw this piece on social media from the MAC with quotes from Big 10 coaches talking about the MAC, mainly about how every team was the same. Not sure why the MAC pushed this piece, sounded more like a slam, than a compliment. But then I thought, there have been 3 MAC championiship winners over the past 7 years, is that really parity. I think there are clear haves and have nots in MAC football just as there in MAC basketball, or any other conference.

Well, now that the boat rowers in K-Zoo are going to a pro-style offense, we will not all look the same. I am e-mailing Delaney so he can pass that down to the coaches.

Here's the way I look at it. In the past ten seasons every team currently in the MAC except for WMU, EMU and UMass have won their divisions. That's ten different teams showing up to the championship game. I'm not sure any other conference can claim that. The unfortunate thing about the MAC is that as soon as a team gets good, the whole staff leaves and they have to start over.

And that leads to parity.
Also, teams like Buffalo and Kent State have shown that you can go from the cellar to division winner in just a couple years.
