i used the black stat to show the huge difference between the two. obviously i cant look up gays/jews but the fact that VT has a much more lopsided demographic with blacks sure is telling when you look at how many hate crimes they prosecute.

What evidence do you have there have been any hate crimes? Outside of that inborn ESP so many liberals seem to believe they possess?

There is a lot of racism up here in Michigan, but I've experienced more personal racism from blacks while just mostly talk and stereotyping from my fellow whites and a plant like this was not racially motivated, they would've done that to any headshop that they could have regardless of who is working or is the owner. Also I bet you 99% of those Hate Crimes in Michigan come out of Detroit and its suburbs.

i under estimate them? they do it to themselves. modeling the state flag after the confederacy, and not taking a tougher stance on hate crimes.

I have to ask, what is the proper number of hate crime prosecutions for a state with 7.2 million people in it? And please do show your work.

On a related note, back in the 1980s, the Asian-American was perceived as the Devil around here (Vincent Chin, anyone?), and racial epithets were just kinda the norm in these parts. Fuel-efficient Japanese cars started eating the Big 3's lunch, and the disgrunted auto union worker needed a scapegoat.

hate crimes dont = added crimes. they are crimes that are already committed that get labeled as hate crimes and thus = a harsher sentence.
