was one of the longest shots to make the roster. however, the bears have huge tackle issues and are going w 2 rookie starters on the line. aj made an impression to go from undrafted, no ufa, to tryout, to off season roster, to within a week of final cuts. amazing accomplishment for the former walkon.

i suspect molls will be in a similar situation. if they stick with it and have a good agent they might pull a hawkins and sneak back into the league in a couple yrs. some guys choose to move on. no shame in what all these former rockets have done and a ton of guys still on nfl rosters. we could have have 2 on the tb bucs and 2 on the cowboys.

I think Molls has an excellent shot at being a fifth LB and a special teams starter. San Diego did a round of cuts yesterday and he is still on the team.

Teams have to get down to 75 by tomorrow afternoon, so lots of names will be floating out there today. Hopefully the Rockets survive.

'bout like the Browns; always looking for the superstar that could lift them from mediocrity while they let go of guys who could be developed and become solid players.

I'm saying this as a Bears fan, and not trying to cut down the Rockets, but what does it say about Lindeman if he got cut from a team with O-line depth issues? He may be able to get picked up on a practice squad somewhere and develop into something. The Bears need people who are ready to play now. With Jermon Bushrod, JWebb, Jordon Mills, Jonathon Scott, and Ebon Britton there just wasn't room for him. Maybe they cut him because they wanted to give him a chance to sign with another team first and if he is still around he will make the practice squad.

So.... the Bears have a guy named Bushrod?

absolutely. look at how many teams have come out of the browns folding as a franchise and went to the superbowl....


bengals, ravens....theres probably more if i go back far enough in history but the browns are still....the browns and they will never be any good.

the last time they won anything, my parents werent even born yet.


and look at the players they let go....

colt mc coy, peyton hillis,braylon edwards. the list goes on and on.
