Which of the following Big 12 expansion candidates would the Big 12 most likely admit?

UCF & USF.

Other because none of those teams add money to our TV contract. That being said, if WE have to add, I want South Florida and East Carolina because they can put 50K in the stands.

The conference is fine at 10, tyvm.

No slight to ECU, but the UCF/USF combo adds a lot more than butts in seats. It's about rivalries, in a talent rich state that is football crazy. I voted UCF btw. Gotta love that homer vote.

BYU would add money to the contract and put 64k in the stands.

Not happening. BYUTV network and Sunday play issue are the 2 main obstacles.

Too bad Memphis has done nothing over the last 2 decades to become relevant in football. This would be their chance to get an invite up. They continue to feed their players to the SEC west and Tennessee schools.

I voted Cincinnati and UCF.

If I picked to schools for the XII, it'd be Cinci and UConn. Two fairly solid programs and helps WV some.

SMU & Houston. Double down in the state of Texas.

Most likely? Who knows. Who they should? ECU and UCF. I'm pretty sure there is a fairly recent thread like this floating around...

They're all pretty much equally unlikely in this contract cycle.

Things can change over a dozen years. TCU would never have been admitted in 1999.

Well hell since this is just pimp your own school the obvious answer is simple, ECU. You guys figure out the other.

I have never read, seen nor heard any Big12 official say that the no Sunday play was an issue.

Those issues could be resolved. Not saying they will be, but they could be. If it doesn't happen, it's simply because one or both of the two parties is not really interested.
