Pretty good. Asked if we were better than 3-9 record a year ago and he said no. Said he learned a lot about himself in first year. Said he has learned to trust his own instincts instead of trying to think what his mentors would do. Also talked about knowing personnel better now and gave the example of Darrin Reaves being the 3rd RB to get the ball against Troy. Said he must have been retarded to have the best RB in the league standing on the sideline. Also pointed to the importance of Reaves as a legacy player.

Overall good interview. McGee thinks we have a real chance to be successful this year.

Also talked about how lucky we were to have 2 options at QB. Said both could be starters and having 2 good QBs would keep the coaches from worrying about calling QB running plays.

They talked about us losing Hubbard and asked if he was worried about the offensive line. He said he was confident in our returning o-linemen and praised the coaching and his staff. Said they take good players and make them better through coaching and technique.

Said again that he was happy with the teams added to CUSA and the Conference had done a good job. Also talked about the conference head coaches all being on the same bus for the media day and that, unlike the SEC and other conferences, there was no tension or drama between the coaches.

Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum had done a bit of homework, and it was a good but short interview. Coach sounded relaxed and excited about the season.

Said the mindset is there to go out and win every game, and that we should see improvement this season.
