Zucker's use of the past tense is interesting, since there haven't been any programming changes recently that would address that issue.

Also -- and this is something that the media rarely acknowledges -- what Zucker needs to understand is that "objectivity" is not a question of having a "conservative" voice on Crossfire or whatever. It's not even a question of having an overtly "conservative" host like O'Reilly or Hannity on for an hour each night. It's a question of every "objective" news-feature, every "objective" interview, every "objective" piece of film or still-photography, selected and edited and presented for discussion by someone who is "progressive" and is constantly seeking to frame the discussion in a "progressive" direction. The editing (by NBC, not CNN) of the 9-1-1 call in the Zimmerman case is a classic recent example.

SE Cupp is going to be on Crossfire this Fall, but she's really pretty moderate.

Actually, I'd put her in the atheist-conservative group, Owl. She's fairly conservative outside of anything involving religious discussions.
