"I believe that if we can get the right recruitment and the right people to step up and play for UAB then I believe we can get the 'Fab Five' and go all over again and put UAB back where it used to be," Haas said.

You think maybe he's basing his decision to come to UAB on if they can or can't get some of the other high-profile players to come there? Don't get me wrong, I would love to see UAB pull this one off, I'm ready to upgrade my seating preference if they make this so!

Very impressive young man. Speaks well on camera and has great potential on the court as well in the classroom. Hope we get him!

I don't think he tweeted the schools he's visiting in order of his preference. I'm pretty sure UAB is still the leader.

He would be quite a recruit for UAB. I'm glad we are still in the mix.

It's funny seeing bama fans fired up that the state's top bball talent isn't considering them. Especially a player whose dad played for bama.

UAT and Auburn are football factories. You can't say that about UAB.

He clearly said in no particular order. So you can't say we are no longer the leader. But you also can't say we are the leader.

His dad has traveled a rough road, some of it in Tuscaloosa.

He was also a great big guy.

As long as we're nitpicking the phrases of a 17 year old... He said theyre all on a level playing field...which, to me, means its a five way tie for the leader (not that I believe that)

Bama has wasted the top basketball talent of this state for far too long.

We all know that UAB has always done more with less, and if the Blazers had had all the talent that has gone to Tuscaloosa over the years, there would be more big time banners hanging in Bartow.

You knows and they knows its the troof.
