Confirmed w/ #Irving 6-4, 290-pound DT Davious Ballard (@DaviousBallard7). He's committed to #Houston. The #Coogs score a solid, solid get.

There you go. Big DT, just what y'all have been hoping for. Merry Christmas...or waddeva.

By the way, at one point, he fell back a year, and was class of 2015. Apparently he's been doing well in the classroom and made all-district academic team in the past year.

Everybody in the AAC is eating our dust on the recruiting trail.

Who doesn't want to play and spend their college years in a place like this?

Everybody else is "eating your dust"???

Uh... Rutgers and Louisville are light-years ahead of you, and UC is (admittedly before #15) ranked one spot ahead of UH according to 247.

And recruiting numbers are nice and all, but they don't mean a thing. A huge number of these kids won't make it to signing day. Another chunk of them will never see the field due to academic issues and will end up JUCOs or nowhere at all. Yet another chunk will just not pan out due to work ethics etc... And a final chunk will get hurt and see their careers cut short.

In other words... congrats on getting that kid away from Tulsa. We'll see if he makes it with UH until February and then beyond.

Why does this have it's own thread?

Louisville and Rutgers won't be in the AAC after this year and we will have the #1 ranked classes in oncoming years.

#1... They are in the Conference THIS year, whether you happen to like it or not.

#2... Make huge assumptions much? You must be a blast to take to Vegas.
