replay alert: 2012 Cincinnati vs. Louisville football
Replay starts in less than 1/2 hour - 9:00 PM on ESPNU.

This is number 14 on list of top 25 games of last season.

RE: replay alert: 2012 Cincinnati vs. Louisville football
It will be painful to watch. Lots of "what ifs."

Ever since this game, I've been curious about one exchange in particular. That being the events leading up to putting Drane (I believe) back in after breaking his hand. Louisville sees this and proceeds to take the lead with under 2 minutes to play on a 60+ yard TD pass. Our defender was in good position but couldn't make the takle due to, in large part, the use of only one hand. Who makes this decision?

One could argue that it didn't matter as we had a chance to pull the game out, but that call (to play a guy with a broken hand over... well just about anyone) still makes me wonder.

Still, I can't wait to see last years seniors again.

Here is another what if. Metteberger signs with us, and Bridgewater signs with LSU.

Our offensive playcalling is really bad. Most likely because of how limited we were with what Munchie could do throwing the ball.

Coldest and most miserable I have ever been during a game. I totally underdressed for the elements.

There were frozen Sherpas and piles of empty oxygen tanks along the base camps on the long walk up the stairs to the upper deck in the sleet and frozen rain.

Our coaching staff were complete fools in that game.

Heard it from people "in the know" that the decision to put Drane in was on Butch, despite the Doctors advising him not to.

Here's yet another "what if".

What if Kay had started all season long and Munchie's @$$ was on the bench??

After watching the replay, two things stuck out. 1) Drane did catch that INT in the end zone and it wasn't even reviewed. 2) If Kelce doesn't drop that pass in the 4th, UC wins.

RE: replay alert: 2012 Cincinnati vs. Louisville football
* Can't believe the Drane interception wasn't reviewed. Can't believe our coaches didn't call a time out or raise a fuss. Can't believe the world's worst TV crew completely blew it off - their exact words escape me.

* Can't believe the call a possession later where Stepp was called for a personal foul on Bridgewater after being pushed into him while Stepp was clearly trying to avoid contact and barely making any contact. Can't believe the TV crew seemed to support the call.

* Can't believe Rod Gilmore is employed by ESPN. He must have some dirt on someone. His biases make him incredibly difficult to take.

* I am beyond disappointed that the coaching staff would put Drane back in after he broke his hand. Drane, by the way, had a heck of a game up until then.

* I hope to see better 3rd down defense this year. Of course, the defense, by and large, had a good game against Louisville. I was actually quite impressed.

* I hope to see an offense with some balance - but if the balance isn't there, I hope we play to our strengths. We clearly did not against Louisville.

* We were the better team last year - watching the game helped me get rid of the CBJ funk. It's behind us... time to kick some @ss.

Kelce probably should have caught the ball, but the throw was terrible. He was running wide open.

I can't believe on 3rd down, Munchie threw the ball into the end zone up for grabs. We could have at least kicked a field goal.
