True. But look at the numbers he put up. #2 all time in BE yardage despite only playing a couple games his senior year due to injury. Kid was a player and ill take 10 more Grothe's. he put up astronomical numbers against UCF.
Yeah. I was pretty critical of Grothe during his USF tenure, I focused on his failures more than successes. But time has mellowed my attitude and now have a much fonder appreciation for what he accomplished.

The Black-n-Gold chants from the visitors were louder than the rest of the arena... We sang "Nah-nah-nah hey hey goodbye" so loud the sportscasters made mention of it.

Check your facts!!!! It was both in 2007 and 2008. However, 2007 was when his mother was ill. But hey, never let the facts get in the way. Oh and yes your loving fans jeered "Over Rated" while being pummeled. Got to love your one sided fact finding.
I'm not going to say all their fans are this way but, UCF has nothing to be proud about here.
