However, I can't say this more plainly....be it the Rock or the Yurt, we are second rate. Until more improvements are made, the additional people will not come. The south end zone was a start. However, we can't afford to wait another 30 fkn' years to make further additions and improvements.

I said it before. This guy appears to be a salesman (which can be looked at both ways). I think that is the perfect fit for us. It will take time, but if my read on him is correct and the core buys in, I like our chances. If they don't....well....probably won't end pretty.

We didn't get left out to dry...we did this all on our own. All the BS and complaining takes us further down that path. People need to take their head out of the sand and look at the problems with solutions in mind. If I wanted to hear people *****, I would have TV, watch the news, and be a BGN/EP poster. Those people are hopeless.

We have a brand new regime. Personally, I am amazed with the quality hires with all the BS that has surrounded USM and caused the division in our fan base. IMO, these are people ready to accept a challenge that could set their career back....possibly forever (remember Curley Hallman).

We need solutions. Rants are pointless. It is fruitless to look backward when we need to move forward.

Rick Cleveland wrote an article not too long ago about the division within our fan base. It basically stated if we couldn't achieve unity we were in big trouble. I think he is right.

It is also important to remember that all posters on this board are only a few grains in relationship to the overall mass.

As I read posts from all the new adds, I am reminded daily that hunger is only filled by the hunt....we forgot about that.

Tell me how we increase our capacity without adding cheap seats. The only way to add premium seats is to expand club seating to the west side of the stadium, which we should be doing. And by the way, that will decrease premium stadium seats but increase revenue.

I think you have added a steady guy that knows his stuff but not sure is the kind of hire that will be innovative and take risks.

I'm beginning to wonder what people wanted. I mean, an AD is an administrator and money grubber. we want him workmanlike and a little on the greasy/car salesman side of the ledger.

for all intents and purposes, he's a manager. he's not a motivational speaker. no matter what, we weren't going to get an "inspiring" choice. that's just not the way this position operates.
