Hi guys! I thought I'd pop by and say thanks for spreading the news about my "I hate Mick Cronin and UC" thread I started a couple years ago. Since the thread is sitting in the "SMACK" section, it is not to be taken seriously. It's a place to be completely rediculous and not worry about it, and a way to keep rants out of the actual basketball discussions. I'm glad you all enjoyed it so much! Im an athiest and I would never say man I really just want to bash in Chris Macks head blah blah blah or anyone for that matter. I know the school, fan base and members who post on internet forums dont represent all catholics in the world(with some of my friends and im sure a good majority of bearcat fans) , but that just a sad excuse to call yourself religious if you say things like that. About anyone.

But to call UC thugs and everything else that comes out of that schools mouth, what a joke

nawwww, most of them go to Confession before they go out to party and get drunk or attack UC bb players from the stands and then expect that makes them good to go. I still haven't figured out how they can have MONTE CARLO gambling fund raisers and Beer Tents, where most of them are soused , and not think that was the kind of stuff that Jesus was upset with when he turned the tables over at the Temple for making the Holy place of worship into a market.

Is gambling and beer tents bad only if Catholics do it? I like monte carlo nights, and church festivals. You guys know how many GCL kids go to UC?
I bet more GCL grads go to UC than X. With the exception of ND, I bet the catholic kids in Indy preference is Purdue and IU over a catholic university.

Same deal in Chicagoland, I bet their preference is Illinois, Northwestern, Wisconsin etc., over DePaul or Loyola.

Poor behavior by X fans or students isn't due to their religious affiliation, it is just how they act sometimes.

The only reason Xavier fans hate Cronin so much is he is doing everything the right way. Recruits well, gets good players that behave themselves and graduate, wins games and wins against Xavier.

Not to mention, the campus is located in rundown Evanston, clearly the worst part of the city.

No, that would be Avondale, which borders the west side of Xavier's campus.
