Obviously, I didn't understand the rules to this game.

Apparently, you're penalized for being under the margin the victory (instead of over) which makes absolutely no sense to me.

As an example, I lost 25 points for picking the Hurricanes by 17 over FAU with a lock. Thinking on this that surely Miami would beat FAU by at least 17. I was expecting to see myself get 28-17 + 25 = 36....instead I get -25.

The Price is Right would not approve of this game.

You're penalized for being over or under if your lock does not fall within the point spread given on the lock. Had you picked miami by 39 you would have been penalized the same (if it didn't fall within the points given), at least that is how I understand it

the larger the margin of victory you pick, the more slack you get in the range of the lock

After you pick a margin of victory... a range will appear to the right. Locking the game, you are betting that the final margin of victory will appear somewhere in the range. If it doesnt you lose 25 points. If it does, you gain 50

I'm in 2nd place. No big deal.

I'm in 10th. Guess I won an embroidered shirt though. That beats 2nd place, pfff

Everything came up Millhouse for ICB this weekend. Wow.

you know it used to be sad, that i host the darn thing, but could never win it.
