RE: Dukes on TV!
We get 60% of the NBC Sports games and we're complaining? Odd. I'd say that's a ton of respect shown to our program.

People aren't complaining, they're just confused as to why BFS is only being focused once out of those three games.

I think it's fantastic for the Dukes and I hope that it reaffirms the powers that be in the athletic department that we do still indeed have a desireable fan base/program despite 4 consecutive mediocre seasons.

RE: Dukes on TV!
I am guessing we get 3 more on CSN (WM, Nova, SB) for a total of 7

1 Espn3
3 NBCSN
3 Comcast

RE: Dukes on TV!
I wonder if they believe that we are the fan base most likely to watch the games. So, having us in two away games is trying to maximize ratings.

I'm excited because they're two games that I won't be at and will now be able to watch them in real HD, not Comcast SportsNet "HD".

"In addition to the five games scheduled on NBCSN, 13 CAA Football games will be offered on select NBC Sports Regional Networks. Telecast networks and times for those 13 additional CAA Football contests will be announced at a later date."

This TV lineup actually works well for those who dont have comcast.
You can basically watch all the games on Madizone, NBCSN, or ESPN3 except for the W&M and Delaware games. Not too shabby.

Would be cool if Delaware and WM end up being on CSN.

I can't remember the last time the Dukes played the Chickens when it didn't get a regional broadcast...same with W&M come to think of it.

Actually, 2008 was the last time W&M wasn't broadcast and I don't even remember the last time one of our games against the Chickens wasn't.

I think when the comcast lineup comes out everyone will be pleased with the schedule, as well as the reason its release was delayed.

If JMU announces that we're going I-A, tv will cover us more, without a doubt. 3 of 5 NBCSN games is crazy(in a good way).

They usually end up meaning nothing too. Pleasantly surprised that the schedule was release on the same day the duke dog has a new photo posted on Facebook!

Glad to see that the away games are broadcast on NBCSports - great coverage from what I saw last year.

JMU gets 3, Towson 2, UD, UNH, UR, and Nova each get one.

And we're supposed to be the team with no appealing media market...

Because TV networks pick the matchups they want; not the buildings they want to broadcast from.

No one get all worked up about a 1A announcement. From what I understand, this won't be that kind of thing. Still something overwhelmingly positive if my Deep Throat source is right.
